How to start a Computer?? 

Step:1

     Turn on the power supply button. 




Step:2

    Turn on the CPU power button. 




Step:3

    Turn on the Monitor power button. 


Now we can view a screen  with small pictures on the Monitor. 

The screen is displayed on the Monitor is called Desktop. 

The small pictures displayed on the desktop is called Icons. 


How to shutdown a Computer?? 

Step:1 

   Click  the  windows Start button which is shown  in the Desktop. 

Step:2

Click Power  and  Click  Shut down. The shutting down message appears on the screen. The Monitor then turns blank. 

Step:3

 Switch off the power button on the monitor. 

Step:4

 Switch off the CPU  power button. 

Step:5

 Switch off the power supply.

 How to clean a Computer        It is a good habit to keep our computer clean. Points to remember:        We need to make sure  that  we shut down the computer and turn off the power supply before cleaning  the computer. Cleaning the Monitor:      Use a moist cotton cloth to clean the Monitor.Then clean it with a dry cloth.Do not spray or pour water directly on the Monitor as it may affect the display.           Cleaning the Keyboard:    Use a dry brush to clean the Keyboard.       Cleaning the Mouse:       Use a moist cotton cloth to clean the mouse from the top and bottom. Then clean it with a dry cloth.     Cleaning  the Keyboard:      Use a moist cotton cloth to clean the CPU cabinet. Then clean it with a dry cloth.
